Sadistic Introduction to a Masochistic Book

Supervert, the creator of PervScan, has written the introduction to an edition of Leopold von Sacher-Masoch’s Venus in Furs, the book that caused the author’s last name to be transformed into masochism.

This edition of Venus in Furs is being put out by the new publisher Bookkake. (No doubt PervScanners will appreciate the allusions in that brilliant name.) Bookkake aims to publish “new and classic works of transgressive literature” using all the means provided by contemporary technology. Think of it as something like an Olympia Press for the Information Age.

Unfortunately, the printed books are not yet available outside the United Kingdom. The printed books are now available (with free shipping) from Bookkake.com. In addition, Bookkake makes ebooks available for free download and has posted Supervert’s introduction, originally titled “Sadistic Introduction to a Masochistic Book,” on its site.

omg, omg, omg !!!

Mr. Supervert, that is the best introduction I’ve ever read. I bow, I tremble, I assume slave posture.

And, if I might note, sir … now you’ve gone and given the ultimate punishment to Masoch by writing an intro better than the author’s book.

You scamp!

You’re too kind, Angela. Come to think of it, that entire text may well read like the script from a phone call with you!

That is truly brilliant, made me smile all day, and even lol publically.

Which… euh… I’m very sorry about, and I promise it won’t happen again.
