13 Year Old Steals Dad’s Credit Card to Buy Hookers

“A 13 year old from Texas who stole his Dad’s credit card and ordered two hookers from an escort agency, has today been convicted of fraud and given a three year community order. [Name Deleted], a 13 year old from Newark, Texas confessed to ordering an extra credit card from his father’s existing credit card company, and took his friends on a $30,000 spending spree, culminating in playing ‘Halo’ on an Xbox with a couple of hookers in a Texas motel… The escort girls who were released without charge, told the arresting officers something was up when the kids said they would rather play Xbox than get down to business. Police said they were alerted to the motel by a concerned delivery clerk, whom after delivering supplies of Dr Pepper, Fritos and Oreos had been asked by the kids where they could score some chicks and were willing to pay. They explained they had just made a big score at a ‘World of Warcraft’ tournament and wanted to get some relaxation. On noting the boys age the delivery clerk informed the authorities. When police arrived at the motel they found $3,000 in cash, numerous electronic gadgets, an Xbox video console with numerous games, and the two local escort girls… Asked why he ordered two escorts, [Name Deleted] said he thought it was the thing to do when you win a ‘World of Warcraft’ tournament. They told the suspicious working girls they were people of restricted growth working with a traveling circus, and as State law does not allow those with disabilities to be discriminated against they had no right to refuse them. The $1,000 a night girls sensing something up played ‘Halo’ on the Xbox with the kids, instead of selling their sexual services. [Name Deleted]’s ambition is to one day become a politician.” — Money (US)

Before arriving at the last line of that story, you may have been thinking something like this… Way to go, kiddo! Grab that bull by the horns. Live life to the fullest. Go for the gusto. Eat, drink, and be merry. Better to regret something you have done than something you haven’t… After all, don’t most men wish they’d have been able to order up a pair of hookers during their adolescence? Perhaps they’d have even done something more with them than play on an Xbox.

Once you read that last line, though, your conception of the story totally changes. The young man wants to be a politician? He’s not going for the gusto. He’s working an angle. No wonder he didn’t try to screw the hookers. It’s not a matter of lust. It’s ambition. Diverting funds to pay for personal excesses — that’s exactly what politicians do. The kid’s got it all figured out. Who’s his hero, Eliot Spitzer?

I actually find it quite sweet that those two Escort girls just ‘Baby Sat’ the little fukkas, rather than fleecing them.

But I also see it as a sad indictement of kids, of that age, today that they could possibly be more distracted by who knows what fucking Video Games than a pair of available, on a plate girls!

It’s hard not to admire those kids and their escapade on a certain level, though I too am somewhat surprised that red-blooded American thirteen-year-old boys wouldn’t be interested in getting busy with the escorts. Says something about today’s kids, or World of Warcraft, or something.

at least they where only playing video games, says a lot about the hookers honesty for not trying to molest, tie up and rob these two kids of all they had.

That “people of restricted growth” line cracked me up! I’m sure the escorts were too amused at the situation to feel vindictive. It was probably like a vacation to them anyways – paid vacation no less; hanging out with some kids playing xbox sure beats getting felt up by a dirty old man. Well this post has gotten too long and is distracting me from World of Warcraft, AFK.

ladyc., i’m sure the hookers were just glad to have an easy session. i doubt they charged them less/because they only played video games…

The link to this story now contains the line “NB: This story is a parody and is not intended to be taken seriously.” Great read, but unfortunately not a true story.

A parody of what? That’s totally bizarre. There was no hint whatsoever that the story was not to be taken seriously, particularly given that it appeared on a rather staid financial site.

Snopes has much more detail. It was more of a media hoax, to point out how “linkbait” combined with Google can create a media story.

To coment on an earlier coment; ANYTHING is better than PS 3. How many times has it been pulled back for flaws now? And have they fixed it so you can play the PS 1 and 2 games on them yet? (Have to wonder why not a PS 2 tho’)
But, man, that sunds like a fun trip. And how many teens would asume to be arested for fraud, when it’s their dad’s money? Sounds like the kid wants to be a big-shot to his friends tho’, and he might have gotten around to have sex with the hookers, but if it’s his first time, I can see why it’s scary.
