Immoral Monk On Pilgrimage Admits To Having Sex With A Widow
“On 30 June 2007, at 1 AM, Pol.Lt. Col.Theerasak Jaroensri, Investigator, Pattaya, was notified that a pilgrimage monk and a woman were unabashedly drinking alcohol and having sex on Soi Polaris, behind Batman Building, Moo 10, Pattaya South, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. A police team rushed to investigate. At the scene, under the spreading branches of a tree with some light from an oil lamp, officials looked through and saw the shadow of a man and a woman making love under a long-handled umbrella. They shouted to them to stop immediately and to come out. The officials were shocked to see an inebriated man with a shaved head wearing only a saffron cloth on his shoulder. There was also a woman under the umbrella, who immediately grabbed her clothes to cover up her body. Police asked them get dressed and investigated further. Police located the man’s Monk I.D. book… They both acknowledged the immorality of what they did. An entire police team “rushed to investigate” an immoral monk making whoopie behind the Batman Building? Holy hotcakes! To westerners, Thailand is known as one of the world’s capitals of debauchery. Sex tourists of all sorts go to Thailand in pursuit of illicit pleasures. And yet a drunk Thai monk can’t even give a widow a bit of consolation under the moonlight?
Plainly there are some double standards in the local morality. Reading between the lines, you get the sense that these are caused by economic forces. Sex tourists spend big bucks. They make local economies thrive. Monks? They simply don’t spend enough to go around bonking widows with impunity. This guy, in fact, met his lover while “coming out asking for food in the same Soi for about 2 months.” He may have put some truth in the cliché that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but he didn’t abide by the number one maxim of illicit sex — which is that the way to impunity is through a fat wallet.
Nevertheless, all is well that ends well. The monk was defrocked and the police forced him to marry the widow. Given that so many of the stories here on PervScan end in prison or death, that ought to count as a happy ending.

Marriage is considered a happy ending?
I guess it’s how you look at it. To the monk, it could have been a happy ending, because maybe he loved the widow, even though he was forced into marriage. Generally, forced marriage, or gunshot weddings are not happy endings, because you are forced into marriage, because of that hot fling, and you marry because you are forced into it, not because you really love the other person. I think though, for the monk, it was a happy ending, because, how happy could he have been being a monk, if he made love to that widow. He did not seem to refuse getting married, so I think for him, it might have been a happy ending.
