Scary Vermin Fight AIDS?

This little snippet won’t make the least sense until you have a look at the posters. Go do it. Yes, you can believe your eyes. These posters do indeed show attractive models having sex with, uh, big scary vermin: it looks like the lady is getting head from a spider and the guy is screwing a scorpion. At the bottom of the poster, it says “Sans préservatif, c’est avec le sida que vous faîtes l’amour. Protégez-vous.” You might think that this translates, “Don’t have sex with man-sized arachnids,” but really it says, “Without a condom, you’re making love with AIDS. Protect yourself.”
Hunh? What do spiders and scorpions have to do with AIDS? If you want to exert yourself to find a connection, perhaps you can equate the venom of the spider and the scorpion with the infection of HIV. But really that’s a stretch. There’s nothing logical about these posters. The images are meant to stop you dead in your tracks and then push you, in your quest for explanation, to the little reminder to wear a condom. It’s sort of like tying a string around your finger in order to force yourself to remember something. The connection is not really logical. It’s just a connection.
If these posters were displayed in America, some jerk would probably sue whatever agency put these out. “Now I can’t have sex without imagining giant bugs! I need $28 million dollars in damages!” But in France, where les français are neither so litigious nor uptight, you have to wonder if it will have the opposite effect. Maybe a few libertine minds will be surprised into recognizing the sex appeal of vermin. A spider could show you a good time with those pedipalps, n’est-ce pas?
Haha, it’s an absolute classic! GLORY TO PERVSCAN! The French are as retarded as they are smelly (and believe me, they stink really really bad, so that’s quite an achievement).
However, when it comes to AIDS, only one place is more developmentally disabled than France: Africa. I don’t know if otherPervscan readers got to experience the joy I did: watching BBC News 24, and seeing a woman claiming she can cure you of AIDS by rubbing you with a sticky solution and humming constantly. People were paying her £100 a time to be rubbed on their chests, sorta like an open-plan sauna, for AIDS patients who think the devil is in control of their soul.
I mean, I don’t really want to laugh….I lie, I find it fucking hilarious how stupid an entire nation can be. A bunch of fucking morons, mating daily (omg no condoms! lets all die of aids! great!), whether consensual or not, and then blaming AIDS on the devil (Religion is a positive force, believe it, or go to hell!).
It’s one thing to be backward, it’s quite another to be an idiot.
