Man Hides In Bathrooms, Drinks Boys’ Urine
“A disturbing case was discovered Tuesday about a Central Ohio man who allegedly told police he likes to drink the urine of adolescent boys. Alan Patton, 54, is in jail after allegedly telling Gahanna police that he enjoys drinking urine. Detective Ron Fithen interviewed Patton after he was arrested while leaving a movie theater last weekend. ‘Listening to his describe it, it’s like listening to a crack or cocaine addict. He’s addicted to children’s urine,’ Fithen said. According to police, Patton said he’s been drinking urine for years. ‘He told us he’s been doing it over 40 years, since he was 7 years old,’ Fithen said. Police said Patton goes to family restaurants and movie theaters and waits for boys in a bathroom stall. Investigators said he shuts off the water to the child-level urinal and puts a cup in the bottom. Patton allegedly told police that he leaves the stall after the child leaves. ‘He goes back and retrieves the cup and drinks the urine,’ Fithen said. Police said Patton told them it makes him sick, but that it’s almost spiritual to him. He allegedly added, ‘I like it because it makes me closer to them — like I’m drinking their youth.’ A New Albany father played a role in Patton’s arrest. He told someone at a movie theater that Patton was staring at his son in the bathroom. The theater employee then called police. Officials said Patton is a registered sexual predator, who was convicted of rape 13 years ago. Police believe Patton has been collecting and drinking urine in cities around Central Ohio, including Hilliard, Westerville, Dublin, Worthington and Gahanna.” — NBC4I (US)

Here is a picture of Mr. Patton. If what he told police is true — if he really has been drinking boys’ urine since he was seven years old — it calls to mind the famous poem of Arthur Rimbaud, “Les Poètes de Sept Ans,” in which he describes a seven-year-old poet closing himself up in a bathroom: Il pensait là , tranquille et livrant ses narines. He could think there, sacrificing his nostrils for peace.
Much as the poet sacrificed his nose for some peace and quiet, it’s hard not to think that the young Mr. Patton probably began drinking other boys’ urine for some secondary reason. It’s doubtful he had an “addiction” at that age. Little boys don’t just go around drinking the urine of their schoolmates. Something must have pushed the young Mr. Patton in that direction — a compensation for abuse, alienation, latent homosexuality. Without knowing more about the man, you can’t say exactly what initiated his behavior. But you know there had to be something.
This is not to deny that urine has its place in erotic games. Lots of people indulge in water sports — drink it, squirt it, splash it. Because fecal matter of any kind tends to repel, incorporating small doses of it into games of desire can add an element of pleasurable tension, like an off-key note in a melodic progression. But that’s a mature understanding of a game that probably does not arrive at the beginning of anyone’s sexual life — who practices water sports within six months of losing his virginity? Little boys might well enjoy peeing on other people, but it’s hard to imagine one wanting to drink from the urinals in his gym class. And for that reason Mr. Patton — a man who has spent his entire life in the grip of a childhood compulsion — seems rather more sad than perverse.
AAh, another sick bastard surfaces!
Well swat my hind with melon rind, This varmit is nuttier than a Squirrel turd.
Just look into that guys eyes. If there ever was a childhood mollested, latent homosexual, spiritualised drinker of kid piss; That’s gotta be him.
If he’s been drinking urine from adolescent’s since the age of 7, he definitely was molested.
This is coprophelia, all right, but it smacks very strongly of a pedophilic component if this guy gets his jollies drinking pre-pubescent urine. Maybe this article should also be in the category of pedophelia.
