I know because I am one of them. The others are my ex-boyfriend and my old roommate. I met Cliff when he came to my boyfriends tattoo shop. He would just sit around for hours. I would work the counter after a girl quit, and i felt sorry for him, so we would talk at times. A few times he came to our apartment or went to play pool with us. He hit on me relentlessly, and would tell me weird stories. I started getting scared, so I told my boyfriend and the shop owner. he got banned from the tattoo shop, and my boyfriend told him that he'd kick his ass if he dared come near me. After that I saw him twice- only momentarily- once walking down the street, once in the super walmart in bradenton- then I moved out of state and didn't think about him again until the detective called me... it was almost a year since i'd seen him... it's a weird feeling to know that someone intended to rape and kill you and your friend... thank god we broke lease and moved early...
