Man Guilty of Sodomizing Dog
“A Chicago man was convicted Thursday of aggravated cruelty to an animal and animal torture for seriously injuring a black Labrador. Michael Keefe, 33, appeared at his bench trial in the orange and white jail uniform of the LaSalle County Jail, having been in custody since the dog was injured May 17. Keefe was charged after neighbors reported Keefe stuck a stick-like object repeatedly in the dog’s anus. The dog, Midnight, had to undergo surgery to close a one-inch hole about 8-10 inches inside the anus. Authorities say the dog was injured at the residence of its owner, Susan Rick, who is Keefe’s fiance. Keefe had been staying with Rick since his release from prison in March… Rick’s neighbor Larry Bird, Bird’s son and a neighbor boy testified they saw Keefe, in the backyard, insert a stick or rod-like item into the dog’s anus. It’s often said that dog is man’s best friend, but incidents like this sure make you realize that man is a shitty friend in return. It’s one thing to utilize animals as a natural resource — to farm them, hunt them, eat their meat, wear their fur, make condoms out of their intestines. It’s another thing altogether to fuck them with a stick. There aren’t many legitimate reasons you can come up with for making a “one-inch hole about 8-10 inches inside” a dog’s anus. What was he trying to do, let some air out? Parody one of those corn dogs you make by putting a popsicle stick on a hot dog?
There’s a whole soap opera of excuses and accusations about why the neighbors called the police when they witnessed this repellent, idiotic deed. The man’s fiance and kids stuck up for him, claiming that they’d had a Hatfield and McCoy relationship with the neighbors. But none of that mitigated the fact that there was a tangible injury to the dog’s innards. It’s hard to argue with a wound and, so far as the newspapers reported, the defendant didn’t offer any alternative explanation for what might have created it. “Uh, that’s right, your honor, the dog ran backwards into a maple tree and, uh, it was the most incredible thing I ever seen, why, a stick when right up his poop chute…”
This socipathic prick has absoultely no consciencious at all, and no matter what excuse is offered, there is nothing that justifies this abuse.
Sounds like his “controlling” behavior is probably behind these actions, otherwise why would the dog’s owner (his fiance) and kids “stick” up for him?
Those that abuse animals should have to suffer exactly what they perpetrated. Even if it means dismemberment, or even death. There is a very hot place in Hell reserved for individuals such as Michael Keefe.
