Nurse Who Flashed Her Breasts Is Struck Off
“A boozy nurse who flashed her breasts at an elderly patient and colleagues has been struck off. Penelope Keane, 49, had to be propped up by staff after she arrived to look after frail pensioners and tearfully admitted she had just downed a bottle of vodka. A colleague ended up leaving her to sleep it off overnight on a sofa at the home but Keane woke up the following morning still reeking of alcohol. Several months later Keane was discovered in a resident’s room despite the fact she no longer worked at the Askham House Nursing and Residential Home in Doddington. After boasting she had been lounging in her garden sunbathing Keane pulled up her T-shirt and yanked down her bra to expose her breasts to stunned colleagues and an elderly male resident. The event was one of a string of incidents involving Keane at the home between April and June 2002. It would be hard to believe that the “elderly male resident” was offended by the sight of a nurse baring her boobs. PervScan couldn’t find a picture of Ms. Keane, so it’s possibly she’s ugly as a mule, but all the same it wouldn’t be surprising if the elderly resident was delighted about her spontaneous act of exhibitionism. After all, once you’re confined to a nursing home, the opportunities for seeing a little T&A are relatively limited, and many patients fantasize about nurses anyway.
No, the real issue here is the fact that Ms. Keane showed up to work drunk. That’s a frightening prospect. You want your meds administered by somebody who’s just downed an entire bottle of vodka? Unless you’re suicidal or anxious to find grounds to sue your local hospital, you probably don’t want a boozy nurse.
Then again, if that’s the only way she’ll flash her boobs at you, you might take a chance. Probably it depends on how old you are, how sick you are, how desperate you are. It’s risk assessment. What’s more important to you — a few more years to live? Or the sight of a fine pair of melons? Depending on how fine the melons are and how many years you have to live anyway, it could be a difficult choice.
