I also must say that this entry was in very poor taste and actually quite offensive. If a woman orgasms during rape, it’s still rape. You can’t always control how your body reacts to physical stimulus. This is equally, if not more, true for men. It’s very possible for the women to have stimulated him to erection without him having wanted to have sex. Rape is rape is rape. If a person says no or cannot consent (drugs, unconscious, etc) then it is rape. Whether or not he has an erection is irrelevant to the question. Shame on you for victim-blaming. And I usually quite enjoy your analyses.

I’d draw a line between
- physically forcing sex upon someone (or with fear or pain), and
- putting someone in such a position where their judgment is either impaired, or they are not free to decide.

As any male older than 12 can tell you, guys do not have control over their bodies. It’s extremely easy to make a man hard against his will.

Saying that if he was hard then he must have wanted it is like saying that if a woman cums when she was raped then it wasn’t really rape.

This is a really distasteful conclusion to draw from the story. a) Just because he goes for drinks with some girls, it doesn’t mean he wants to fuck them. It doesn’t mean “they certainly wouldnâ€™t have needed a gun to convince him to have sex” — it doesn’t mean anything other than that they convinced him to have a drink. b) Whether he has an erection or not is totally immaterial to the question of whether he was raped. Whether you are raped is not determined by whether you were aroused, or even whether you enjoyed it, but whether you gave consent. It’s not the cock that is asked yes or no, it’s the person.

Basically, your argument is “He was asking for it” — just like they used to say about women who wore provocative clothes in public, or went on unescorted dates.
