Man in Nappy Is Hunted by Police
“A man dressed only in a nappy who has approached a number of women on Teesside is being hunted by police. The man has hidden in bushes in Eaglescliffe before moving towards the women and asking: ‘Are there any baby changing facilities in the area?’ Cleveland Police said they are becoming increasingly concerned about the man’s behaviour after several incidents in the past few months… The latest happened on Sunday night in a play area on Wentworth Way. The man approached a woman walking her dog and said to her: ‘Are there any baby changing facilities in the area?’ The startled woman said no and walked off, leaving the man still running around dressed in his nappy. Insp Ian Garrett said no one had been assaulted but the man’s antics were bizarre and a cause for concern. He said: ‘There have been several reports of him having been seen in Eaglescliffe dressed only in a nappy and we are keen to trace him and speak to him.’ Similar sightings earlier this year in the Stockton area of a man also wearing just a nappy are not being connected.” —BBC (UK)
It’s hard not to laugh if you pause to contemplate the image of police chasing a man clad only in a diaper. After all, how dangerous can a man in a diaper be? Do you draw your pistols on a man in a diaper? Do you chase him with a club? Blind him with pepper spray? Or do you just threaten, it you catch him, to take away his pacifier?
Anyway, you wonder what Nappy Man — apparently a less flagrant peer of Baby Man — expects these women to say when he approaches and asks if they know of a changing station. Apparently all of them say no, leaving the guy to wander around in his nappy. (Hey, maybe it’s just a lost child suffering from that weird disease that ages you prematurely?) But suppose one of these ladies said “Yes, I know where there’s a changing station.” What does the guy expect then? Will he just go change himself? Will he ask his interlocuter to change him? No wonder the women all deny any knowledge of a changing station. They’re not afraid of being molested or attacked. They just don’t want to change the guy’s diaper. Yuk.
i like nappies, but not on men, or even on babies, i like them on me or on nice ladies!
