The "reporter" is merely exploring the idea through questioning. That's always a good way to approach a topic that is new, unusual, unexplored, and frequently shunned. Through questioning without jumping immediately to conclusions (which, of course, would be the equivalent of bias), a person can rationalize his or her beliefs and values. Otherwise, you end up just toting someone else's line, becoming nothing but a follower, a non-thinker. I don’t know where you see bias.
