“The Tampa, Florida, murder trial of Ronnie Paris, Jr., 21, has begun for the January murder of his 3-year old son, also named Ronnie. Nysheerah Paris, the child’s mother, testified that his father didn’t want the little boy to grow up to be a ’sissy.’ Shanita Powell, Nysheerah’s sister, told the court, ‘He was trying to teach him how to fight. He was worried that the child might be gay.’ Sheldon Bostic, a Bible-study friend of the alleged perpetrator said that he had warned him not to play so rough with his son, the Tampa Tribune reported. ‘He really did what other fathers do—slap box,’ Bostic said. ‘He always said he didn’t want his son growing up to be pushed around. Note that the abuser was a religious man. The bible condemns homosexuality, and so maybe this guy thought he was pulling an Abraham and Isaac routine, sacrificing his son to obey the word of God. But you know what? Is there any stupider scene in the bible than that one? Really, would you slit the throat of your own son because you heard a voice telling you to do it? This is the most Disturbing thing I have ever heard. What kind of person ESPECALLY a parent would kill there 3 year old son because he thought he was Gay. And so what if the little Boy was Gay. If they are exhibiting sexual behavior, it’s because someone taught them that. The part that made me sad was when the child stopped eating and began wetting himself. Poor child, he must have thought no one loved him.
