Youths Used Sex Shop Uniforms to Pose As Cops
“Four New Caledonia youths who posed as police officers using uniforms and handcuffs bought from a sex shop have been sentenced to light jail terms, it was reported… One of the youths told a court in the French Pacific territory that he had failed a police entrance test but still wanted to be a police officer. He said he had bought t-shirts and windbreakers with ‘Police’ written on them and other accessories so he and his friends could pose as police officers, the Nouvelles Caledoniennes newspaper reported. Wearing the uniforms, the four in July last year stopped people in the street and questioned them, including someone who had jumped a red light on a scooter. One of those they stopped realised that their handcuffs had come from a sex shop, the court heard.” —Daily Times (Pakistan)
Usually adults want to keep sex toys away from kids because they’re just that — sex toys. It’s ok to give your kids an old box to make a fort, but nobody wants to see their kids improvising a game of marbles with ben-wa balls. Or to take a more extreme example, there was the lady who snapped pictures of a baby sucking a dildo and ended up getting arrested, even though she claimed it was just an accident that the baby grabbed it and then she thought it was funny so she took pictures — a perfectly credible excuse.
But now these miscreant youths raise another possible reason for keeping sex toys out of the hands of the young and impulsive. What if they find other ways of disturbing the peace with them? Once these hooligans take the desiderata of uniform fetishists and impersonate police, who knows what they’ll think of next? Maybe they’ll walk the streets wearing chaps and pretending to be cowboys, or they’ll cover themselves in dildos and pretend to be porcupines with pink plastic needles. Anything is possible. Do you really want young people impersonating the Thrill Hammer? No wonder some states are trying to outlaw sex toys.
