They claim to have seen at least one dog and the girl going behind her family’s house on Monday afternoon last week and ’surprised’ them. Talk about killing the messenger. Why does it so often happen that the animals in these cases are “put down?” Were the dogs raping the girl? Probably not. So why kill them? Granted, in this instance it wasn’t the authorities who initiated the killing of the dogs. Rather, the locals had so savagely beaten the animals that the authorities had little choice but to put the beasts out of their misery. But why did the villagers take it upon themselves to beat up on the dogs? It makes you wonder who’s really the animal — the dog who, when presented with the opportunity, does what is natural to do? Or the people who, when presented with the excuse, punish the dog for no reason other than basically just being a dog.
In fact, it’s hard not to suspect that in this particular case the whole story is a fabrication. It began with rumors. Angry villagers wanting to “protect their daughters” — from what? a pack of raping dogs? — “claim” to have seen one girl disappear behind her house with a dog. Maybe she was just petting the thing and, in their rage, the villagers mistook it for some illicit deed? The whole case seems overwrought, particularly when you consider the sage advice of the local clergy. “Head of the Bethesda Christian Church, Dr Elijah Mtileni, believes demons are to blame and said only prayer and fasting would help the girl.” Demons, rumor, innuendo, dogs killed with such little reason that it’s tempting to call them animal sacrifices — it’s hard to take the whole thing seriously. After all, how could “prayer and fasting” ever cleanse someone of the urge to fuck dogs?

Firstly between humans and their pets, which will in the main be horse or dogs, their is always a closeness which results in stroking and patting and the like. But what is it that makes this become an emotional and physical and perhaps then climatic act.
