Animal Sex Offender Gets Hard Time from Public
“A Nelson man who attempted to have sex with a goat has been ‘given a hard time’ by members of the public, his lawyer says. George Kepa, 41, unemployed, had previously admitted charges of bestiality and unlawfully entering a building when he appeared for sentencing in Nelson District Court yesterday. Judge Paul Whitehead said Kepa broke into a tin shed at the rear of a Nelson property in January 7 and unsuccessfully tried to have sex with the goat. Kepa had six pages of prior convictions, including one for indecency with an animal… Defence lawyer John Sandston agreed that alcohol and drugs, combined with ‘debilitating’ schizophrenia, had caused Kepa to offend. ‘The biggest penalty for this man is the embarrassment, the shame and the hard time he’s got from a number of members of this community.’ It was unfortunate that those who had abused Kepa ‘did not stop to ask about this man’s disabilities’, he said.” —Stuff.co.nz (New Zealand)
WIth all due apologies to anyone suffering from a mental illness, you can’t help but laugh at the thought of a schizophrenic zoophile. It would make a great comedy skit. You could catch him with his pants down and his groin pressed against the ass of a goat, and he could plausibly deny the whole thing, blame it on one of his subsidiary personalities. “I think it’s disgusting to have sex with animals,” he says, “but Larry doesn’t. Multiple Personality Disorder is more commonly known as Schizm personality, or Schizoid personality. ‘Schizophrenia’ is a different disorder that causes a person to have trouble distinguishing between reality and fantasy. The movie ‘A Beautiful Mind’ described schizophrenia pretty well.
Kepa may have thought the goat was a beautiful woman. Probably anyone strung out on drugs and booze like he was could make the same mistake.
I have been strung out on drugs and never have I mistaken a goat for a woman, A woman for a goat perhaps but never the other way round.
