“A hooker turned in a customer after seeing child pornography, including a video of an apparent toddler rape, on the man’s home computer, police said Thursday. Detective Carlos Negron said police were contacted by the woman two days ago, saying that while at the man’s apartment working as a prostitute she saw numerous pictures of children who appeared to be between the ages of 3 and 16 performing sex. The woman told police that it was a disturbing video that showed the rape of a younger child, perhaps no older than 2, that caused her to make the call after she left the apartment, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. Negron said Federico Eduardo Amezaga, 29, let investigators search his apartment, where they found numerous photos and videos of children performing sex acts.” —Local6.com (US)

When you read about the astonishingly stupid ways that pedophiles often get caught for possessing child pornography, you can’t help but conclude that they must not realize how serious a crime it is. How else can you explain it? These guys must cruise the internet and, since they find caches of kiddie porn, they must presume it’s no more illegal than downloading MP3 files or trading serial numbers for new software products. Wake up, you idiots. Even if you happen to think that child pornography is not immoral — and no doubt it’s hard to make the case that raping a two-year-old can ever be moral — it is still extremely illegal. Prison sentences may vary: some guys get off light, other guys get the book thrown at them. But either way, it’s a serious crime with serious consequences.
Granted, maybe this guy figured to himself, “Well, she’s a stupid hooker. If I show her the kiddie porn on my PC, she won’t go to the cops. She can’t go to the cops. They’ll arrest her too.” But even this is a flawed line of thinking. In the first place, possessing child pornography is a crime with worse legal consequences than prostitution. In the second place, especially given the global attention currently being given pedophilia and child pornography, it’s entirely plausible that law enforcement would grant legal immunity to a prostitute for turning in a pedophile. Hell, you could almost imagine the government recruiting prostitutes for just such a purpose. “You see into the dark areas of men’s libidos,” the agents would tell her. “When you see children in those dark areas, just report those guys to us. You take care of us, and we’ll take care of you.” Law enforcement depends on such tit-for-tat — tits for tattle, it would be tempting to say. Why think that it won’t happen to you?

Some times I wonder why people watch these movies and photos then I realize hey I am doing the same thing as them. I also wonder what they get when watch this is it realy a turn on or is it curiousity like society is curious for a reason to why some one would pose for this.
