firstly, i don’t have any sexual fetishes for the dead, and i think necrophilia is wrong in every way to some extent, but i also wonder, what makes these politicians think they have the right to control someones feelings, and suppress them, thats exactly what there doing, being gay is legal, thats a fairly odd sexual/love based scenario, so why arent the laws against necrophilia, at least, slackened off abit, homosexuals/necrophiliacs/celebacy, there all human emotions and thought process’s. what about all these people who masturbate over marilyn monroe, and say, oh well she is a sex symbol, or, she was a sex symbol, she IS STILL DEAD, however you look at it.

Is necrophilia defined as obtaining sexual gratification through physical contact with a dead human being? Is this the crime in CA? Or do you have to engage in genital contact with the corpse. In any event, I think that it is reasonable for society to determine that it should be illegal to desecrate a deceased human being, which is the essence of this law. I frankly would have imagined that desecrating a corpse or grave was already a crime in CA. Other unhealthy sexual practices are not illegal, so I doubt that is the point… Imagine being sent to prison for eight years for necrophilia, and the other inmates find out what you are in for. Would they stay far away from you, or give you extra trouble?

necrophilia is a disgusting perverted and unatural act but its hardly what you call a sex crime, considering the fact that a dead person can not have any harm done to them, but i still think that necrophilia should be outlawed because its a perverted indecent act which doesnt involve any consent, any sexual act which does not involve consent between mature people or adults should remain outlawed, and necrophilia is also a very unhealthy and unclean sexual practice because corpses rot and decay and they trigger all kinds of deseases so a person who engages in such activity is putting there physical health at risk.

Ok,I can understand the reason behind banning necrophilia: How would you feel if it was a relative of yours? I’d be pissed off. But at the same time 8 yrs in jail? unless the person commiting the act killed first no jail time is necessary. Politics is dumb, just like the “war on terrorism” You can’t fight terrorism anymore then fighting necrophilia, its a part of society whether people like it or not. I don’t think therapy can help a necrophile because its what they prefer.

I think necrophilia should be legal, I my-self have a strong necro sexual fetish. I find a law against necrophilia a law made merely by close minded people who are not able to except that a corpse can actaully be a very erotic thing indeed. Call me sick if you want, but I find this law to be in many cases to be a mere ploy by social conservatives who are threatened by people such as my-self because they are unable to expect anything different from what socities current standards of conducy may be.

i cant see how consent can be considered in a case such as this, how can a corpse consent to anything. i do think it should be illegal. if we judge that society has the right to make laws concering individual actions, which it does, then surely it should be allowed to legislate in areas concerning sex with a corpse. it can not be considered rape. The idea of relating having sex with a corpse to that of picking your nose seems stupid, there is a total difference. anyway, strange subject!
