Dutch Politicians Want Bestiality Banned
“Two Dutch political parties are calling for laws prohibiting sex with animals after a man suspected of having sex with a pony was set free. Wearing nothing but a T-shirt, the man was arrested by police in Utrecht on Monday after the pony’s owner caught him by surprise in his stable… The prosecutor set him free because there was no evidence of a crime. Dutch law does not prohibit bestiality. ‘There were no wounds or traces of violence. The man may have had sex with the animal, but there is no article in law which says this is liable to punishment,’ Hallebeek said… ‘Sex with an animal is a far-reaching infringement of its physical integrity and the animal can never consent to it. Sweden has also been advocating for a law against bestiality, so apparently northern Europe isn’t going to be a haven for pony-lovers anymore. Certainly there are a number of obvious arguments pro and con you can make about whether bestiality should be illegal. However, the one assumption in this particular case that you have to question is the lawmaker’s assertion that “the animal can never consent to it.” Apparently this lawmaker hasn’t spent much time with animals, or maybe Dutch dogs are more bashful than their American counterparts, because there are no doubt a lot of people here who could tell you a story or two about having a dog hump their legs. And if you’ve ever been in this embarrassing position, surely you know that it was the animal and not you who consented to the behavior — so it would seem as though, at least in some situations, animals are capable of consenting to sexual interaction with human beings.
This is just one more small example of religionists and politicians accelerating the rise of global fascism. Empowered by technologies their fascist predecessors could only dream of using to control the masses, we are racing towards a future darker than the best and worst Nazi efforts. On a GLOBAL scale. If we are released from our nightmare through nuclear warfare, the charismatic megavertebrates that pretentious animal rights terrorists claim to want to protect will become all so much the same post-apocalptic nuclear fallout ash as themselves. No hope for our species or the large mammals on this rock. We’re a failed experiment in evolution, all because we tolerate the existence of superstitions like religion and the morons who belief in Santa-In-The-Sky and the KJV.
No, this is not a ‘troll’. While the conclusions are reaching, they seem increasingly probable every year. Unless the intellectual cognoscenti rise up and bitch-slap the ignorant trash in politics, there is no hope. In other words, we must recruit our best and brightest for politics, instead of the ignorant, superstitious trash we elect now. When government and law becomes something our best can aspire to, THEN there will be hope for our future. Then we can kick the religious trash to the curb and examine subjects like this objectively.
As a Dutchman, I’d like to apologise for my country. If I were running this country I’d never allow such a law to be formed. The man, however should be convicted. Even though I have no objection with peole being a zoo, I do not want strangers messing around with my pets!!!
Come on folks! Are you all that completely daft? All this rubbish about animals not being able to consent! First off, who cares if they cannot consent or not! I don’t recall anyone ever asking a cow if it will consent to being slaugtered. I never heard anyone asking a horse if it minds being ridden. I don’t think anyone ever asked a deer if it minds being hunted down and shot! I don’t think anyone asked a dogs permission before we used its BODY for cruel lab experiments! Nobody asks any animal if it consents to anything! But if a person has sex with it, ohhhhhh thats horrible! Some of you people are a bunch of hypocrites! Bunch of folly rubbish!
