Spam Slam
PervScan.com has been getting hit especially hard lately by nameless assholes leaving “comment spam.” This is of course pernicious advertising posted to the comment section of an entry and striving to point the user to sites selling porn, Viagra, and the like. Hopefully it hasn’t interfered with your enjoyment of PervScan, because we’ve been diligently removing it as fast as possible.
However, the spam has been so persistent lately — such a freakin’ goddamned pain in the ass, in fact — that PervScan has decided to implement an anti-spam engine which ought to remove the grossest offenders. Hopefully this should not affect anybody wishing to leave a legitimate comment. You may notice that it takes a second longer for your comment to be registered to the system — this is because the anti-spam engine is analyzing your comment to determine if it is spam. Don’t keep pressing the “submit” button. Once is enough.
If for some reason you feel that a legitimate post has been denied by the anti-spam engine, please contact PervScan (using the contact link to the right) and let us know so that we can continue to fine-tune the filter.
For the record, PervScan has no problem with a little bit of self-promotion. If you are a frequent reader of PervScan and, say, you publish a book on incest, by all means let us know. If it seems interesting and appropriate, we may add it to the database of products that cycle through the Amazon.com links in the banner and sidebar. If we really like it, we may even select it as one of the monthly Supervert Picks on PervScan’s parent site, Supervert.com.
Finally, if you’re a spammer reading this, then we strongly encourage you to contact one of the hungry flesh-eating fellers featured in PervScan’s cannibal category. We would like nothing better, in exchange for all the time we’ve wasted deleting your dumb spam, than for you to be dead meat. :-)
All comments become the property of PervScan. You must use an email address to post a comment. However, PervScan disallows email addresses in the text of comments.
