“Four Catholic nuns say they have received death threats after exposing an organ trafficking network allegedly operating in northern Mozambique. The traffickers are said to target the sex organs of children, which are sold to make magic charms. The nuns from the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate order say they have gathered evidence of the trade. They say they have spoken to victims who managed to escape and photos of dead children with missing organs. Ritual murders have been reported in many African countries, as some witchdoctors say using human organs in magic charms makes them more powerful. Organ trafficking has been pretty thoroughly debunked as an “urban myth,” a recurring legend that sweeps through people’s fears like a plague and then subsides, only to pop up again somewhere else later. Which makes it rather strange to see the BBC, a normally reliable news outlet, reporting that some superstitious sadists in Africa are kidnapping orphans, removing their genitalia, and making magic charms out of them.
The article doesn’t say, but you imagine that more boys than girls would be victimized by such a trade. It’s easy to see a penis being made into a magic charm — it could be dried, tanned, a little nub of leather you could hang from a necklace or bracelet. The vagina, conversely, would not be so easy to process. To remove it you’d end up with a horrible chunk of surrounding flesh. It wouldn’t be easy to cure, and even if you did let it shrivel up like dried fruit, what could you do with it then? Thread it through some beads? Attach it like a clamp-on earring, labia clinging to your earlobe?
What are the odds, anyway, that this story is really true? So far, no real evidence has been shown. It’s just some nuns making the claim that this genital trafficking is going on — and can you really trust the testimony of anyone who believes in that Catholic hocus pocus? If you can believe the rather, uh, incredible claims of Catholicism, it’s not such a leap to believe witch doctors are castrating the local orphan boys. Probably it’s just another outbreak of the urban myth, only without being urban.

The Catholic Empire can go fuck it self until one might call it rape for all I care. As I dont denie the possibility of there claim being true since a lot of violent- perhaps barbaric- rituals do exist within african tribes it still wouldn’t suprise me if these a-sexual nuns were full of shizen! How much longer does this world have to play victim to this mass hog-wash propaganda organised religion is feeding us? Lucky for me I live in Australia and because of our general relaxed laid-back attitude to life we dont take religion too serious like other countries do. I was listening to a radio station one early morning and they said 60% of Americans go to church but only 13% of Australians go to church. That’s quite a difference.

Thank-you for pointing that out even though I now feel somewhat stupid for writing it the way I did. I actually dont believe in everything I hear from the radio and I wish I mentioned it in my earlier post. I have to admit though I do have more faith in the particular radio station I heard such claims from since there not a commercial radio station. They seem to discuss issues- real issues- of importance rather then discussing whether or not Britney Spears has blonde hair anymore, etc, etc.
How did these nuns find out what African witch-doctors were doing to orphans out in the jungle or whatever when it took them over two decades to figure out what their own priests were doing to alter boys in the vestibule??
