You actually need a license to do this, at least in New York, and sometimes it can be fun to see the cops chase these guys — who almost never have licenses — down the street along with their compatriots, illegal immigrants selling “Rolex” watches and sunglasses and ragged old porno magazines culled from garbage cans.
Anyway, what can you say about a guy who knocks up his girlfriend’s eight-year-old daughter? Evidently he must have thought that pedophilia offered its own built-in form of birth control — no prophylactics for the prepubescent. But this eight-year-old must have been physically mature — perhaps an example of the medical condition known as precocious puberty, in which girls as young as three can have their periods — otherwise she couldn’t have gotten pregnant. Then again, even if she was physically mature, it’s obviously no excuse for the perp. It’s hideously irresponsible to knock up an eight-year-old, even if she’s built like a fertility goddess.
You could have an interesting debate about the appropriateness of forcing an abortion on the girl. It’s worth noting, in this regard, that there is a case on record of an even younger girl, a five-year-old, giving birth to a baby — which means that, however crazy it is to imagine a fifty-pound girl gaining twenty or thirty pounds to deliver a baby, it’s not without precedent.
But the other weird thing about this case that sticks in your mind is this: what’s to become of an eight-year-old who has experienced and apparently enjoyed a sexual relationship? She’ll still be jailbait for a period of years equal to her entire life to date — and yet, is it reasonable to expect her to be celibate until she turns sixteen? You wish her all the best with her life, but it’s hard not to imagine her getting in trouble again at age ten and twelve and fourteen…

Of course the stories fail to emphasize the fact that most child abuse and sexual molestation takes place in the home, among relatives or family friends.
ok, this is completely fucked up, there is no reason why a child should be forced to have an abortion. Damn straight. In terms of the abortion, it was practically necesary. Not only would it severly endanger both her health and the child’s, possibly killing them both, but even if she was to bear a child without complications there is the fact that she could not sucessfully raise it. Having a child at age eight would completely ruin her chances of a healthy development. If she was older, she could have been given more choice, but even as far as individual rights go, it could not have been any other way. Yes, there are medical and scientific facts (do you also vote republican, because, if so, your kind is impervious to the word ‘fact’ and even more so to the concept of sex as natural and enjoyable). A four year old girl in South American did get pregnant. The doctors did take photos of this fact (you can find them online) and she did GIVE BIRTH succsfully, at the age of five. The boy she gave birth to was raised by her parents and suffered no birth defects. The above post referencing precocious puberty is one of the few references that got this issue right. God I am so tired of those who willfully deny reality to support their own twisted and perverted sense of morality. Children can be impregnated and men do want to impregnate and no amount of moral kicking and screaming will ever change those two facts. Which is not to say all men wish to impregnate girls. And, I suspect, were it not made taboo in our society, few men would have interest in little girls (I do believe men, in general, are visually stimulated by the sight of secondary sexual characteristics). For anyone to say that having sexual relations with an eight year old is in no way wrong, be there “love” between the man and child or no, is absolutely enfuriating.
This child has no mature concept of love any more than any other eight year old would. In regards to the forced abortion, the child is not mature enough to make the kind of decision to keep or neutralize a pregnancy. I think every ones getting too worked up about this. Not about that issue because that is obviously something to get worked up about, but about other peoples views. It’s their opinion and they have a right to it, in most countries anyway.
No matter where you stand on this issue I think we can all agree that the poor little girl is going to have major issues later in life, whether she keeps the baby, aborts it or adopts it.
