America & Australia Are “Gayest Countries”
“Researchers have concluded more than 17% of Australians and Americans are involved in gay or lesbian relationships. It puts the countries equal first in the world for its proportion of homosexuals. The worldwide survey of sexual habits by Durex found that at the other end of the scale, Vietnam recorded the lowest proportion of gay and lesbian relationships at 3%. The company said faking orgasms is also common in Australia, with 47% of respondents admitting to doing so at least once. A lot of Americans would be perfectly content to know that they live in the gayest country in the world, though you can well imagine that a minority would take umbrage at the perceived slight to the national machismo. This is especially true since Vietnam turned out to be the least gay country in the world. Is that why — in spite of their inferior technology, firepower, and finances — Vietnam pretty much kicked our ass in the war? Were we too busy making love while they were making war?
It would be interesting to create a global map of all the various sexual inclinations, a worldwide atlas of perversions. What country has the most voyeurs? The most foot fetishists? What country is the world leader in lewd behavior? Is there a bestiality belt, a zoophilia zone? A province of pedophiles? A hotbed of hermaphrodites? Do masochists have a motherland? Can any state call itself a nation of necrophiles or nymphomaniacs? Where is the epicenter of exhibitionism? The capital of coprophilia? The seat of world sadism?
a side question to think about: how many people lied answering to the survey? Epecially in countries where homosexuality is not legal…

I read a acomment that America and Australia are the gayest countries in the world. I dont think so. It said something about American machismo. Homosexuality is not always a synonim with being effeminate at all. But I can attest to the fact that probably America has the largest of number of macho or very masculine gay men who detest things femenine or too femenine as the situation with French heterosexual or straight me. The cultures of America and Europe are very different in certain respects.

This is just wrong, gayest country by far is the UK, just look at their culture, their movies, music and TV, and most of the guys are so pretty, almost girl pretty, there is almost no british actor that haven’t play a gay character, it is a very liberal country. America may have a larger gay population, but only because the UK has 62 million people compared with 300 million people in the US
