Penis Pill Swindle
“Authorities in Arizona are seizing the assets of a Scottsdale company that sold more than $74 million worth of pills that it claimed would enlarge penises or breasts… Rye said that she and Passafiume studied ingredients listed on Web sites advertising similar products before concocting the formula for Longitude. She acknowledged that they had never consulted any medical experts or done any scientific testing of the product, contrary to claims on the C.P. Direct Web site… A law enforcement source… put it more succinctly: ‘The only thing that was increasing was the size of the perpetrators’ bank accounts.’” — MSNBC (US)
It’s absolutely astonishing that people buy pills in the hopes of enlarging their body parts. The article notes that between nearly half a million (!) customers bought this company’s “supplements” — and of course every supplement, whether for bigger boobs or longer shlongs, turned out to be the same sugar pill. In a certain respect, it’s a good thing the pills didn’t work, or some guys desirous of meter-long members might have developed terrific tits as well — and vice versa. It’s no joke. The article points out that it would be impossible to target a pill so that it would affect only a certain body part, and thus if your penis were to swell, so would your lips, your nostrils, etc. At the limit, perhaps you’d become a human erection.
Furthermore, you have to wonder about the ideology behind this desperate waste of money. Is bigger always better? Women worry that guys only want big boobs, and yet fashion magazines are full of flat-chested waifs and child pornography is flooding the internet. Obviously some men prefer the plains to the mountains. And what about bigger penises? Are they necessarily better? A local expert claims that wider is better than longer — but only to a point, since of course there is such a thing as too wide. And for guys who prefer anal sex — and apparently there are a lot of them — a particularly large member is a liability, since it can intimidate the partner into keeping the back door closed.
