Upskirt Photos Outlawed

Photographing up a woman’s skirt in a public place was definitively outlawed Monday when Gov. Gary Locke signed a bill closing a loophole in the state’s voyeurism law… “Yay!!” an elated Jolene Jang said Monday. Jang, who was secretly filmed at the Bite of Seattle festival by a man who lowered his camera to shoot up her dress, lobbied heavily for the upskirt bill.” — Oregon Live (US)

If the language of the bill specifically forbids shooting up a skirt, does that leave yet another loophole? Can you still shoot pictures up a woman’s pants, shorts, and liederhosen? And what about men? Can you shoot pictures up a man’s skirt? It’s not like you never see a guy in a skirt these days.

Anyway, it’s too bad they’re outlawing these types of photos. How else can you shame and intimidate people into wearing clean underwear every day? That’s probably the real crux of the issue: people are afraid of being caught in yesterday’s crusties. If they had nice clean designer-label panties, wouldn’t they want to show them off? They’d feel like celebrities posing for panty paparazzi.

I kind of wonder if this law will apply to those individuals who prefer to upskirt video men wearing kilts. To those kilt wearing dudes, I suggest wearing bikini underwear, ’cause at least you’ll have an ass sweet enough to videotape!
