Law Against Necrophilia

Lawmakers must believe necrophilia is such an inherently repugnant activity that it’s superfluous to outlaw it, since few states have laws specifically prohibiting it. Or perhaps it’s just not as popular a campaign issue as welfare reform. Can you imagine a guy stumping for governor on a platform against sexual assault of the dead?
Anyway, only in a technical sense is this case really about necrophilia, since it seems less a matter of violating a dead body — which the perpetrator, whose job involved frequent contact with cadavers, could have done any day of the week — than of violating a little girl whom death had rendered incapable of resisting or tattling. In short, it’s really a matter of pedophilia, not necrophilia. But apparently the prosecutor charged the perp with mutilating a dead body since it would have been hard to press charges of child abuse when the child was, in the strictest sense, beyond abusing…
I understand what people are saying about the child being beyond abusing, but I guess I feel that your body is your temple and when someone desecrates a human body…especially that of a child….it is one of the very lowest things you can do. The child was 4 years old for God’s sake and dead to boot. Why not let her rest in peace, it’s bad enough she had to die before she even got a chance to live.
This is true Sarina, but a corpse, have no rights, in any place in the world, is just an empy shield, is just a moral things.
The dead have no privileges to a 4 year old child, or a 70 years old men, a dead body is a corpse, and thats all.
The body of a dead people( any age ) dont represent itself the things of what do in life, or the remembrance of the happines for their families, they are just worm food, is crude, but is like this.
the four year old boy was dead…ok dead. dead? what does dead mean to you? what does it mean to any of us? have you ever died before? no, you dont know what it feels like, or if our spirit lives on and can look down on the living, would you like to look down and have someone rape you, because it is rape, necrophilia is just just sick, its dead rape!!! your having sex with somebody who cannot consent…ohhh so u had sex with a comatose patient, is that a crime? yes…did she feel it? no…she was as good as deead…she did not feel it, she did not see it…it is still wrong and it is not ethical…forget religion and beliefs were are our morals?
