State university hosts ‘Pornfest’

You don’t have to be Republican, fundamentalist, or right wing to find this sort of sex education troubling. There is just something sycophantic and pandering about it, like a professor who tries to be cool and snorts coke with his students. After all, sex is everywhere on campus — does it really have to be in the classroom too? BDSM is all well and good, but what about physics? Philosophy? Intellectual stimulation?
luckily it is a university… it’s not like a high school freshman walks into homeroom and the teacher says “ok, today we’re watching an educational video on the medical profession… these nurses are VERY naughty!!” being on a university campus, no one is put in an uncomfortable position of being too close if they don’t want to be. however, i do think it’s unnessesary… guys in my dorm already have their “Pizza and Porn” nights, so i think groups of students gathering for skin flicks is pretty redundent.
